How pricing works
Every home is different — size, age, the existing system, what's needed. Ballparks for common Oxford County jobs are in our blog content, but the number that matters is the one we quote at the visit.
We don't do upsell-heavy estimates and we don't change the number mid-job. The quote you sign off on is the invoice you pay.

Ductless mini-split vs central AC: which fits your home?

Common Questions
About ductless mini-split installation.

Where do mini-splits make sense?
Additions, sunrooms, finished basements, garages, older homes without ducts, or rooms that get hot/cold despite the central system. They're zone-controllable — heat or cool just the rooms you're using.
Single-zone or multi-zone?
Single-zone covers one room with one outdoor unit. Multi-zone runs 2-8 indoor heads off one outdoor compressor — cheaper than separate single-zones if you're doing more than two rooms.
Do mini-splits work in winter?
Modern cold-climate models heat reliably down to about -25°C. For Oxford County they can be a primary heat source for the spaces they cover, with the central furnace as backup for extreme cold.
