Common Questions

About Ontario HVAC rebates.

Are rebates still available in 2026?

Yes — multiple programs remain active. Enbridge HER+ continues to offer rebates on insulation and high-efficiency equipment for natural-gas customers. The federal Greener Homes Grant transitioned to a successor program; we track the current eligibility. IESO has separate programs for some equipment types.

Do I need to apply before or after the work?

Depends on the program. Some require a pre-audit (Enbridge HER+ for example), others reimburse after install. We design jobs with the right sequencing so you don't accidentally disqualify yourself.

Are heat pumps the biggest rebate opportunity?

For most Oxford County homes, yes. Cold-climate heat pumps qualify for the largest single rebates available right now — often $5,000+ when stacked across federal and provincial programs. The math usually works strongly in favor of the upgrade.

Can you handle the rebate paperwork for me?

We help with the technical documentation (specs, install date, equipment model numbers, AFUE/SEER ratings) that rebate programs require. The customer-side application is yours to submit — we'll point you at the right forms.

How current is the info on this page?

We refresh quarterly. Ontario rebate programs change with provincial budgets and federal program transitions, so always confirm at quote-time. We'll know what's actually live the day we come out.
